Literature Text
Somewhere theres a girl in rainbow socks, sitting indian style on her bed looking down at a boy she knows she can't love.
Somewhere inside this boy a part of him is dying.
She'll write his name on plastic hearts and hang them from her ceiling in between cheap glow-in-the-dark stars.
He'll carve her name into his heart.
She promised to keep them there until he could be near her.
He promised he would move near her
The boy could only whisper "I wish you could love me..."
she could only reply "me too..." before she began to cry.

Her rainbow socks fade and eventually get eaten by dryer monsters
Those plastic hearts are still hanging caked in dust and his name is faded.
Her new boyfriend takes down her plastic hearts and tosses them in the trash.
Somewhere she has fallen in love.
Somewhere he's trying to forget about her.
